Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivers his first major address from Seva Teerth, highlighting his vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and describing the moment as the beginning of a new chapter in India’s development journey.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday gave his first major speech from Seva Teerth, using the occasion to reiterate his government’s commitment to realizing a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) and announcing that the country is “writing a new history”.
Speaking to a massive gathering of citizens, saints, and representatives from different parts of society, the Prime Minister said that the country has entered a critical phase of development where development, service, and the will of the nation are marching ahead together. Seva Teerth has been described as an embodiment of the joint efforts and service that will define the coming decades of the country’s development.
“The spirit of Viksit Bharat is not merely a government initiative; it is a national mission,” the Prime Minister said. “When every citizen joins the mission of nation-building with dedication and discipline, history is made. Today, from this holy land of service, a new chapter is being written.”
Development, Service, and Self-Reliance
In his speech, PM Modi mentioned the government’s focus on development, service, and self-reliance. He said that the development model of India is based on the principles of seva (service) and samarpan (dedication), and that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last mile.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the need for Atmanirbhar Bharat, saying that a self-reliant India is necessary for the achievement of the goal of a developed nation. He cited the development in areas such as manufacturing, renewable energy, technology, and innovation as a sign of India’s rising position in the world.
Call for Public Participation
Stressing the importance of people’s participation as the foundation for the progress of the nation, PM Modi called upon the public to actively participate in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He stated that the coming years would demand discipline, innovation, and collective action to turn dreams into reality.
“Our strength is our unity and our belief in the potential of India,” he said. “If each Indian is responsible for the future of the nation, nothing is impossible.”
The speech from Seva Teerth is being interpreted as a politically and symbolically important event, marking the beginning of a new phase of promoting the Viksit Bharat vision.
